Annual Tree Planting Event with RiskCheck
The RiskCheck Sustainability Committee is holding its annual tree planting event this Saturday, October 27th along with the City of Toronto.
These events are a great way to get involved in community stewardship, get some fresh air, and make the earth a little greener! Families are welcome to participate, too – hope to see you there!
Sunnybrook Park Tree Planting Event
Presented by: City of Toronto
Join us for a morning of planting native trees and shrubs in Sunnybrook Park!
A tree planting event is a perfect activity for community groups, individuals and families – all are welcome to attend. Equipment and materials are provided. Volunteers should dress for the weather—wear comfortable clothing, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and long pants—and bring sunscreen and drinking water.
Enter Sunnybrook Park from the Leslie Street entrance (just north of Eglinton Ave E) and keep right at the first fork in the road. Follow City of Toronto signs and flags to planting event site. If you have reached the Sunnybrook stables, you have gone too far.

Event Time(s): 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Our events run rain or shine; however, our events will be cancelled in the case of thundershowers. Cancellations are posted on our Facebook (/NatureInTheCityTO) and Twitter (@TOtrees).
