Flooding and Devastation in Eastern Canada

Winter thaw and heavy rains have brought severe flooding and devastation to parts of Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick recently, forcing many people from their homes.

A video posted by The Globe and Mail earlier this week gives an aerial view of the devastation in parts of Quebec and it’s difficult to watch.

Extreme flooding like this comes widespread humanitarian need. If you’re able, please consider donating to the Canadian Red Cross to help the most vulnerable.
