WHMIS 2015 For Workers (CCOHS)- P3281EN

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) has aligned with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). This course familiarizes you with WHMIS 2015 and how it will be used in workplaces.

WHMIS helps you to know about the hazardous products that you use and store in your workplace. This information is provided by labels and safety data sheets (SDSs), and through education and training programs.

Some of the Learning Objectives of the Course Include:
• Understanding labels;
• Recognizing the pictograms (symbols) and understanding the hazards that they represent,
• Identify the hazards represented by each hazard class,
• Find additional information about hazards and protective measures on safety data sheets (SDSs).

Length: 31 – 60 Minutes
